This is a great read from Catherine Scott over at Small Pond Science. She is an arachnologist (behavioural ecologist) from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC (soon to start her PhD at the University of Toronto). In it, she discusses the visibility of women in science (and under-represented groups in general) and how it can be improved- including her own experience.
